Globetrotter Style

These international fashion bloggers have us traveling to their sites for inspiration every day.

Beatrice Tan. Blogger Beatrice Tan is a local celebrity in her homeland Sinagpore. As one of the first personal bloggers in the mid-2000s, Beatrice quickly built up a loyal fan base as readers clamored for more posts. Recently, Beatrice launched e-boutique Klarra.com as an extension of her personal blog to help readers shop direct the collections Beatrice wears and loves. Beatrice has established herself as a credible source for reviews of cosmetics and juice cleanses, food festivals and beauty cleansers, spas and salons. Beatrice’s international trips and local excursions, written in her honest and optimistic voice, are a fun way to vicariously visit as a pseudo-travel companion.

Fake Leather. Fake Leather’s Adriana Gastélum is Tijuana’s counterpart to New York City’s Olivia Palermo. Like Olivia, Adriana has mastered the high-low mix with a signature look. Letting her statement pieces speak for themselves, Adriana’s personal style is unfussy, a lesson in balancing dramatic items with wardrobe basics.

High on Fashion. Mexico-based blogger Gina Ortega is unabashedly shoe crazy. Her impressive footwear collection has become her trademark. No heel is too dramatic or daring and her shoes are typically the focal-point of her outfit on High on Fashion. If you’ve ever fallen head over heels for a pair of heels, Gina is the source for inspired outfits on how to incorporate even the most improbably shoes into your wardrobe.

Just Another Fashion Blog. Lisa Dengler hails from Canada and currently resides in New York City. Lisa’s style carries a European air but derives its unique perspectives from the ironic details (think rubber slide flip flops with printed trousers, gym sneakers with crisp denim and round reflective sunglasses with just about everything). Her effortless look is topped off with her enviably low-key hairdo: blunt bangs and expertly tousled bed-head.

La Petite Anglaise. Ella Catliff is only 22 but her resume is stocked with fashion powerhouses including an internship at Alexander McQueen, modeling with Select Model Managements and stints at Diane von Furstenberg and Erdem. Despite her serious fashion savvy, Ella’s personal style is mixed with humor-- quirky accessories, funky prints and color wherever possible—and cataloged on her blog La Petite Anglaise. Since launching her blog in 2010, Ella has become a fixture of London’s fashion scene and continues to infuse her looks with her surprising flourishes and a fun lightness.

Winston + Willow. Sydney is the most-recognized city in Australia but, further down in the land down under, Melborne is gaining notoriety as the real fashion hub. Charlotte Bridgeman of Winston + Willow has established herself as a Melborne style ambassador, traveling across continent and the world over with her Australian style. Charlotte’s feminine silhouettes like figure-hugging pencil skirts and high-waisted shorts get an athletic bent with boxy crop tops and baseball jackets.
