Fall Playlist

Here's what we're listening to this season.

“Roar” by Katy Perry (Prism) Turn this song up while zipping up your favorite dress, slipping on your best high-heeled booties, and spritzing on your perfume before a night on the town with your girlfriends.

“Applause” by Lady Gaga (ARTPOP) Whether you’re a veteran hiker or just ambling through the bunny hills of Central Park, this latest Lady Gaga jam is the perfect soundtrack for a great outdoors excursion.

“Give It 2 U” by Robin Thicke (Blurred Lines) As the weather begins to cool, gather up your friends for a game of touch-football and hype up the fun (and your adrenaline) with this catchy tune.

“Holy Grail” by Jay Z featuring Justin Timberlake (Magna Carta Holy Grail) Play this song over your earbuds when hitting the park for your morning run. You’ll be so amped up, the brisk autumn weather won’t even faze you.

“Made to Love” by John Legend (Love in the Future) Enjoy your time indoors this fall and pick up a new hobby like knitting. You’ll not only unwind with this soothing but upbeat number but you’ll make some cozy new accessories too!

“Come and Get It” by Selena Gomez (Stars Dance) Soak up the fall foliage around your neighborhood and cue up this song on your iPod. Selena Gomez will get you motivated to draw out your stroll through the park.

“Follow You Down” by Zedd (Clarity) Find your local farmer’s market or orchard and take a day trip of apple picking. Zedd’s “Follow You Down” will complete this quintessentially fall experience.

“Burn” by Ellie Goulding (Halcyon) With Halloween right around the corner, now’s the time to start carving pumpkins. Set the mood for this childhood pastime with Halloween sweet treats and Ellie Goulding’s great music.

“Hold On, We’re Going Home” by Drake (Nothing Was the Same) Take some time off and go for a drive in the country as a way to celebrate fall. Drake’s new song will make the ride extra calm and soothing.

“All Night” by Icona Pop (This Is…) Fall is a busy time for charitable races throughout the island of Manhattan. Whether it’s the Autism Speaks 4 Miles of Hope or the Komen NYC Race for the Cure, listening to “All Night” will keep you going the distance.

“Falling” by Haim (Days Are Gone) Pumpkin spice has become the flavor of the season. Try baking your own pumpkin pie with this Indie rock tune in the background and it will be doubly sweet!

“Hungry Hearts” by Nause (Single) Kick off football season with a tailgate party (either at the game or on your couch) and crank up this song during commercial breaks.

“Same Love” by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis featuring Mary Lambert (The Heist) Bask in the warmth of a cup of hot cocoa and loved ones with this tune in the background.

“Gone, Gone, Gone” by Phillip Phillips (The World From the Side of the Moon) Come night, light up a backyard file pit with friends and relax to this sweet song. S’mores optional but encouraged.

“The A Team” by Ed Sheeran (Single) Take time to help others in need by volunteering at a local homeless shelter or food bank. This moving melody is just the push you’ll need to provide the citizens of your community a helping hand.
