The over-the-knee (OTK) is one of the must-have trends of the season.
Both sexy and bold, this fashion-forward boot is also incredibly easy to wear. To show you how to mix OTK boots into your wardrobe, we recruited Janelle and Jessica Lloyd—the sisters and bloggers behind Girls Off Fifth—to style and model four ultra-cool outfits featuring the Vince Camuto Over-the-Knee Hollie Boot. Here’s what they came up with.

Channel a bohemian vibe. Crafted of taupe suede, the Hollie Boot embodies a retro free spirit vibe—a feeling Jessica played up with her cozy-cute fall look. Jessica wears a floral mini-skirt, offsetting the skirt’s delicacy with a chunky oversize knit turtleneck. Notice how Jessica layers the boots over long, feminine socks—another key footwear trend—letting the sock’s scalloped tops peek out from the boots’ topline. Vince Camuto’s luxe, fringe-tastic Malik Crossbody finishes the look.
Use over-the-knee boots to stretch out your seasonal wardrobe. Here Janelle wears black pleated shorts with a boxy sweater, tossing the Vince Camuto Blazer Cape over the pullover for an added layer of warmth. A taller boot shaft provides great coverage for your legs, doing away with the need for tights.
Elongate your frame. The Hollie’s sweet Cuban heel not only ads a bit of height, the boot shaft also creates the illusion of slim, mile-long legs. To play up the boot’s lengthening effect, follow Jessica’s Lead: slip on skinny jeans in a contrasting pop of color like Jessica’s crimson jeans.
Take your off-duty look to an on-duty level. Although her look may have downtown edge, Janelle’s addition of the femininely sexy over-the-knee boot elevates the sophistication of the entire outfit. To throw a bit of unexpected élan into the mix, think about switching up your usual moto-boot for the Hollie boot.
