The Nutcracker Ballet Opens in Chicago, December 5 Tchaikovsky’s beautiful score comes to life with the Chicago Jeoffrey Ballet’s production of The Nutcracker. Choreographed by Robert Joffrey, the ballet tells the favorite holiday story of the fantastical adventure of Clara, a young girl who is transported into a winter wonderland and must combat the evil Mouse King to save the Prince of the Land of Sweets.
