March and the promise of spring are finally here! Shake off your winter coat, bask in the warming temperatures and hit up these can’t-miss events.

The Village Voice Choice Eats 8th Annual Tasting Event, March 13 You’ll definitely want to arrive hungry to this food festival. The Village Voice handpicked over fifty restaurants from New York’s five boroughs to serve up their most savory, crave-worthy dishes like the East Village’s Bobwhite Lunch & Supper Counter’s pressure-fried chicken with hot biscuits or the bacon-wrapped matzoh balls from The Gorbals in Williamsburg. Also, you’ll be feasting for a good cause; the festival benefits Slow Food NYC, an organization dedicated to preserving local food traditions and making high-quality ingredients publically available.

NYC Vegetarian Food Festival, March 14-15 Carnivores, long-time vegans and newbies to the Clean Eating movement will all enjoy the NYC Vegetarian Food Festival. Wander through the Metropolitan Pavilion and sample new vegetarian foods like Way Better Snacks’ Sprouted Tortilla Chips, NuttZo’s Seven Nut and Seed Butter, and PlantFusion’s rich protein shakes. As you digest, listen to a panel of doctors, dieticians and food bloggers discuss the health and global benefits of a diet rich in vegetables and fruits. Festival proceeds benefit Evolve for Animals, a vegan and animal rights movement advocacy group.

Architectural Digest Home Design Show, March 19-22 Your dream home Pinterest board comes to life at the Architectural Digest Home Design Show. From loveseats to lamps, tables to textiles, the exposition showcases new home décor trends and innovative works from independent designers. Macy’s Flower Show, March 22 – April 4 Celebrate spring’s long-awaited return with the Macy’s Flower Show. Bouquets, buds, blossoms and blooming arrangements will fill select Macy’s stores. In addition to the iconic Macy’s at Herald Square in New York, Macy’s flagship stores in Philadelphia, Chicago, Minneapolis and San Francisco will host their own Flower Shows. Although details on which florists and professionals will work their magic in the store have not yet been finalized, this year’s theme of Art in Bloom is sure to be a spectacular display.

PaleyFest Los Angeles, March 6 – 15 Los Angeles’ PaleyFest is like the TriBeCa Film Festival for your favorite TV shows. After a screening of a fan-favorite episode or highlights reel, a panel of the show’s writers, directors and talent discuss the series before opening the floor for Q&A. This year the cast and crew of Scandal, Homeland and Girls will be among the featured programs. Catch up on your DVR queue now to avoid any spoilers!
